Thomas Dolby - Airwaves


On this date in 1982, Thomas Dolby released his third single, "Airwaves". It was backed by "The Wreck Of The Fairchild". Both appeared on his debut album, The Golden Age Of Wireless. The London new wave musician was a previous member of Bruce Woolley and The Camera Club as well as The Fallout Club prior to his solo career. He also wrote "New Toy" for Lene Lovich. After some time off, he has recently started performing again.
