The Ramones - Leave Home

On this date in 1977, The Ramones released their second album, Leave Home. It included the single, "I Remember You" and "Swallow My Pride". The album was repackaged twice, once when "Carbona Not Glue" was removed when their U.K. distributor saw the song as pro-drug (as a follow-up to "Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue" from their debut album) and replaced the track with "Babysitter". "Babysitter" was later replaced by the non-LP single, "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker" (#22 U.K., #81 U.S.). The album reached the #45 spot on the U.K. albums chart but did not break the U.S. top 100. The Queens, New York punk legends disbanded in 1996.
