The Drowning Craze - Trance

On this date in 1981, The Drowning Craze released their second single, "Trance". It was backed by "I Love The Fjords". The London post punk/goth band was originally fronted by Angela Jaeger, a transported New Yorker, who went on to record with Bush Tetras, The Monochrome Set and Pigbag. Bassist Simon Raymunde was later in Cocteau Twins. They disbanded in 1982 with three singles but no albums to their credit.
