Crass - How Does It Feel?

On this date in 1982, Crass released their sixth single, "How Does It Feel?". It was backed by "The Immortal Death". Neither track appeared on an album. The A side, whose full title was actually "How Does It Feel (To Be The Mother Of 1,000 Dead)?", was an anti-government song about England's involvement in the Falklands War and brought about a lawsuit from the government. Nonetheless, the Essex, England punk band had the #1 single on the U.K. indie singles chart with this song. The band lasted until 1984.
