Glaxo Babies - Put Me On The Guest List

On this date in 1980, Glaxo Babies released their second album, Put Me On The Guest List. It was a compilation of material not included on their first album, Nine Months To The Disco. This included all four tracks on their previously released EP, This is Your Life ("This is Your Life ", "Stay Awake", "Because of You" and "Who Killed Bruce Lee?"). The Bristol, England post punk band disbanded in 1981. Dan Catsis joined The Pop Group and, later, Maximum Joy with another former Glaxo Babies member, Charlie Llewelyn. They disbanded in 1981 but not before being forced to change their name by pharmaceutical giant Glaxo. They became Gl*xo Babies. They reformed in 1985 and did some limited recording.
