GG Allin - Gimme Some Head

|

On this date in 1981, G.G. Allin released his third single, "Gimme Some Head". It was backed by "Dead Or Alive". His backing group for this single was the MC2 (Wayne Kramer and Dennis Thomspon of The MC5). Neither track appeared on an album. The Boston punk/hardcore artist was born Jesus Christ Allin and was famous for his outrageous stage antics. He once promised to commit suicide onstage but that did not happen. Instead, he died of an overdose in 1993, well away from the stage.

GG Allin's live spoken word effort in the HATED film is one of the most retarded things I've ever seen ( and I've witnessed the Exploited live so that's saying something!! ). The whole GG phenomenon bewilders me... there's nothing particularly outlandish about being a junkie fuck-up... His musical output reflects this.... it's shit!!!
