On this date in 1978, XTC released their third pure single, "Are You Receiving Me?" (their debut was a 12 inch, four song single, 3D, often considered an EP). It was backed by "Instant Tunes". The A side appeared on their second album, Go 2, but only on the U.S. version of the album. The B side was a non-LP track.
