The Selecter - On My Radio

On this date in 1979, The Selector released their first single of their own, "On My Radio" (they had the B side of the joint single, Gangsters Vs. The Selecter with The Specials. Their contribution was an instrumental called "The Selecter"). The B side appeared on their debut album, Too Much Pressure. The A side did not but was added to the album when it was re-released on CD. Their label? 2 Tone, of course. The single reached the #8 spot on the U.K. singles chart.
