Icehouse - Primitive Man

On this date in 1982, Icehouse released their second album, Primitive Man. It included the singles, "Hey Little Girl" (U.K. #17), "Street Cafe" and "Great Southern Land". The Australian synth band (at least at this time. They developed a more mainstream approach shortly after this album) used to be called Flowers which is the name they released their first album, Icehouse, under. The album reached the #3 spot in Australia and peaked at #129 on the U.S. albums chart.
