The Monochrome Set - He's Frank

On this date in 1979, The Monochrome Set released their debut single, "He's Frank". It was backed by "Alphaville". Neither track appeared on an album. The London post punk band rose from the ashes of a 1976 college band called The B Sides which included Stuart Goddard (Adam Ant). They released five albums before disbanding in 1985. They re-formed a few years later.
