The Greedies - A Merry Jingle


On this date in 1979, The Greedies released their debut single, "A Merry Jingle". It was backed by "A Merry Jangle". The band consisted of Steve Jones and Paul Cook, ex-Sex Pistols, and three members of Thin Lizzy; Phil Lynott, Brian Downey and Scott Gorham. It was their only release.

There was also a Greedies CD released of a live show from London in'78 called 'Spanish Stroll'. It was on Lost and Found records. Extremely difficult to find though.
