The Stranglers - Don't Bring Harry

On this date in 1979, The Stranglers released their twelfth 7-inch record. It was a four song EP that included "Don't Bring Harry", "Wired" and two live tracks, "Crabs" and "In The Shadows". "Don't Bring Harry" was from their fourth studio album, The Raven, while "Wired" was a Hugh Cornwell solo track from his solo album, Nosferatu. The EP reached the #41 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The Surrey, U.K. punk/post punk band is still performing and recording, though without original lead singer, Hugh Cornwell, who left in 1990.
