Ultravox! - RockWrok

On this date in 1977, Ultravox! released their third single, "RockWrok". It was backed by "Hiroshima Mon Amour". Both songs appeared on their second album, Ha Ha Ha! At this time, the band was fronted by John Foxx and still included the exclamation mark after the band's name (later dropped). Chart recognition in the U.K. was still a couple of years away. The London post punk/new wave band lasted until 1987. They re-formed in 1992 (sort of...with limited connection to the classic lineups) and released two albums before shutting it down again in 1996. They have performed again recently.
