I actually use a combination of sites for online backup.
Dropbox is good but you have to copy everything to your Dropbox folder.

I'm also trying UbuntuOne which is still pretty new and really lacking in features. Only works with Ubuntu as far as I know.

Cool thing with SpiderOak is that you can sync any folders on your computer so I can actually sync Dropbox, UbuntuOne and SpiderOak files on all of my computers.

Thanks gclot, it works fine on my XP laptop. Maybe you have a firewall issue???

Also works on my Ubuntu Linux pc. Now I can sync the two of them.
SpiderOak works just fine on any Windows, Mac and Linux system. I run it under XX/Windows 7 and Snow Leopard.
