Johnny Thunders - So Alone

On this date in 1978, Johnny Thunders released his first solo album, So Alone. It included the single, "(You Can't Put Your Arms Around A) Memory". Johnny Thunders was, of course, in The New York Dolls and Johnny Thunders and The Heartbreakers before this solo effort. He had an all-star lineup of musicians helping him with this album including Steve Jones and Paul Cook of Sex Pistols, Peter Perrett of The Only Ones, Walter Lure and Billy Rath of The Heartbreakers and Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders.
