Tom Robinson - Now Martin's Gone

On this date in 1982, Tom Robinson released his second single, "Now Martin's Gone". It was backed by "King Kong Elvis" and two live tracks, "Tango An Der Wand" and "Cold Harbour Lane". The A side appeared on his first solo studio album, North By Northwest. The other tracks did not. The London musician started off as the frontman for the Tom Robinson Band and then Sector 27 before settling on just plain Tom Robinson. He is still active and has done some reunion shows with The Tom Robinson band.
