The Piranhas - Zambezi


On this date in 1982, The Piranhas released their fifth single, "Zambezi". It was backed by "Who Needs You" and "Darabukkus". None of the tracks appeared on an album. In fact, this was almost the end for the band. The single did reach the #17 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The Brighton, England ska/punk band disbanded in 1982 after one album and several singles.

There were 2 different versions of Zambezi with each one having separate b-sides.
The first was b/w Who Needs You and Darabukkas and the second was b/w Bouffant Blue and Pink Elephants.
