Lene Lovich - Bird Song

On this date in 1979, Lene Lovich released her fifth single, "Bird Song". The song appeared on her second album, Flex. The B side was a non-LP track called "Trixi". This was added to Flex as a bonus track when it was re-released on CD. The 12 inch version had a third track, "Too Tender (To Touch)" which was from her debut album, Stateless. The new wave singer was born in Detroit, Michigan but relocated to England as a child. She still performs occasionally.
