Wreckless Eric - Whole Wide World

On this date in 1977, Wreckless Eric released his debut single, "Whole Wide World". It was backed by "Semaphore Signals". The A side appeared on his self-titled debut album. The B side was a non-LP track that was added to the CD re-release as a bonus track. Ian Dury played drums on the record and Nick Lowe played bass. The Stiff Records new wave/power pop artist from Sussex, England still makes music and tours occasionally.
