The Stooges - Fun House

In August of 1970, The Stooges released their second album, Fun House. It contained the single, "Down On The Street". The protopunk band from Ann Arbor, Michigan released three albums before disbanding in 1974. Frontman Iggy Pop went on to a successful solo career. Guitarist Ron Asheton went on to join ex-MC5 bassist Michael Davis in Destroy All Monsters. In 2004, The Stooges re-formed with the three surviving original members (Iggy, Ron Asheton and drummer Scott Asheton). Ron died earlier this year. The band has decided to continue on and has recruited former-Stooge James Williamson to fill the spot.
