On this date in 1978, Rich Kids released their debut album, gHOSTS oF pRINCES iN tOWERS. It contained all three of their singles, "Ghosts Of Princes In Towers", "Rich Kids" and "Marching Men". The London punk band disbanded by year's end after three singles and one album. They were Glen Matlock (ex-Sex Pistols), Midge Ure (future Visage and Ultravox), Steve New (future PIL) and Rusty Egan (future Visage and The Skids).
