The Ramones - Rock 'N' Roll High School

On this date in 1977, The Ramones released their twelfth single, "Rock 'N' Roll High School". There were a few versions of the single released. One version had "I Want You Around" as the B side. On this version, both tracks were from the Rock 'N' Roll High School movie soundtrack. A different recording of "Rock And Roll High School" appeared on their fifth album, End Of The Century. "I Want You Around" was added as a bonus track to this album when re-released on CD. Another version had live versions of "Rockaway Beach" and "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker" as the two B side tracks. The single reached the #67 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The Queens, NY punk band disbanded in 1996.

Awesome to see this again. The version I used to have had a Richie Valens cover but I can't for the life of me remember which song. Cheers!
