The Police - Can't Stand Losing You


On this date in 1978, The Police released their third single, "Can't Stand Losing You". It was backed by "Dead End Job". The A side appeared on their debut album, Outlandos D'Amour. The B side was a non-LP track. The single reached the #42 spot on the U.K. singles chart. When re-released in 1979, it reached the #2 spot in the U.K. The London new wave band disbanded in 1984. They have been touring together the last couple of years.
