On this date in 1977, The Members made their live debut. It was at The Roxy in London. Also playing on the stage that night were Sham 69, The Nosebleeds and The Victims.

As it happens Sham never turned up that night. It's a pretty hazy memory for me but I think Eater might have been on the bill as well. I was dreadfully pissed and we were all over the place. The picture is a later gig with the real line-up. Cheers, Nick Tesco

I did not know that Sham 69 stiffed everyone that night. I know the picture is not from that performance but it was the earliest I had access to.
