Lori & The Chameleons - Touch

On this date in 1979, Lori & The Chameleons released their debut single, "Touch". It was backed by "Love On The Ganges". The Liverpool, England post punk/new wave band was put together by ex-Big In Japan members Bill Drummond and David Balfe (also ex-Dalek I Love You and future member of The Teardrop Explodes). Of course, neither was "Lori". That was a 17 year old art student named Lori Lartey. They released just two singles before ending the project.
