Hunters & Collectors - Talking To A Stranger

On this date in 1982, Hunters And Collectors released their debut single, "Talking To A Stranger". It was backed by another version of "Talking To A Stranger". The A side was a shortened version of the album track and was subtitled "Michael's Version Edit #4763". The B side was longer and subtitled "Our Version" and was the version that appeared on their self-titled debut album. The Melbourne, Australia band began life as a post punk/power pop band but their music moved much closer towards mainstream rock later on. They disbanded in 1998.
