Henry Badowski - Life Is A Grand

On this date in 1981, Henry Badowski released his debut solo album, Life Is A Grand. It contained the singles, "Baby, Sign Here With Me", "My Face" and "Henry's In Love". The London bass player had been in punk bands Chelsea and The Damned. In fact, ex-Chelsea guitarist James Stevenson lent support on this album. His solo material was more new wave than the material he played previously as part of the bands he was in. This was his only solo album.
