Crime - Gangster Funk

On this date in 1980, Crime released their third and final single, "Gangster Funk". It was backed by "Maserati". The San Francisco punk band released three singles before disbanding in 1981. Their first single, "Hot Wire My Heart", released in 1976, is widely credited as being California's first punk single. There were no official albums during their existence but there was a bootleg called Hate Us Or Love Us, We Don't Give A Fuck. They have since re-formed and released new material in 2007.
