Ultravox - Vienna

On this date in 1980, Ultravox released their fourth album, Vienna. It contained the singles, "Sleepwalk" (#29 U.K.), "Passing Strangers" (#57 U.K.), "Vienna" (#2 U.K.) and "All Stood Still" (#8 U.K.). This was the first album with Midge Ure as their singer, replacing John Foxx. The album reached the #3 spot on the U.K. albums chart. The London post punk/new wave band lasted until 1987. They re-formed in 1992 and released two albums before shutting it down again in 1996.
