Tom Robinson Band - Never Gonna Fall In Love (Again)

On this date in 1979, the Tom Robinson Band released their sixth single, "Never Gonna Fall In Love (Again)". It was backed by "Getting Tighter". Neither track was included on an album. In fact, the band had broken up prior to its release. Some versions of the single had "Crossing Over The Road" as the B side, a track that appeared on their second album, TRB. The London punk/power pop band disbanded after two albums. Tom Robinson founded Sector 27 after the break-up and then went solo. Tom Robinson Band has re-formed for some reunion shows. Drummer Dolphin Taylor later joined Stiff Little Fingers.
