The Teardrop Explodes - Bouncing Babies

On this date in 1979, The Teardrop Explodes released their second single, "Bouncing Babies". It was backed by "All I Am Is Loving You". The A side appeared on their debut album, Kilimanjaro. The B side was a non-LP track. The Liverpool, England post punk band disbanded in 1982 after two albums. Lead singer Julian Cope went on to become a successful solo artist. Keyboardist Paul Simpson formed The Wild Swans.
