Talking Heads - Cities

On this date in 1980, Talking Heads released their eighth single, "Cities". The B side was a live version of "Cities". The 12 inch version contained an extra track, "For Artists Only". The A side appeared on their third album, Fear Of Music. The other two songs were non-LP tracks. The New York City new wave band, regulars at CBGB's, disbanded in 1992. Frontman David Byrne was never interested in a reunion.
