Talk Talk - The Party's Over

On this date in 1982, Talk Talk released their debut album, The Party's Over. It contained the singles, "Mirror Man", "Another Word", "Talk Talk" (#52 and #23 U.K., it was released twice in the U.K., and #75 U.S.) and "Today" (#14 U.K.). The album reached the #21 spot on the U.K. albums chart. The London new wave band disbanded in 1991 with five albums to their credit.
