The Stranglers - Strange Little Girl

On this date in 1982, The Stranglers released their twentieth single, "Strange Little Girl". It was backed by "Cruel Garden". Neither song appeared on a studio album but both were added to their sixth studio album, La Folie, when it was re-released on CD. The single reached the #7 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The Surrey, U.K. punk/post punk band is still performing and recording, though without original lead singer, Hugh Cornwell, who left in 1990.
