Squeeze - Tempted

On this date in 1981, Squeeze released their fourteenth single, "Tempted". It was backed by "Yap Yap Yap". When released in the U.S., the B side was "Trust". The A side appeared on their fourth album, East Side Story. Both B sides were non-LP tracks. The single reached the #41 spot on the U.K. singles chart and the #49 spot on the U.S. singles chart. The London new wave band disbanded in 1982 only to re-form in 1985 and stayed intact until 1999. They have recently done some touring together again.
