Speed-O-Metors - Tonight Tonight

On this date in 1979, Speed-O-Metors released their second single, "Tonight Tonight". It was backed by "Day In The Lights". Both tracks appeared on their debut album, Day In The Lights. Their first single, "Disgrace", was released in 1977 when the band was a punk band (and they were The Speedometors). They changed direction before 1979 to become a mod revivalist band. The London band disbanded in 1979 after just one album.
