On this date in 1980, Pauline Murray and The Invisible Girls released their debut single, "Dream Sequences". Version I was on the A side. Version II was on the B side. The A side appeared on their self-titled debut album. The B side did not. Pauline Murray and The Invisible Girls released just one album and three singles as a group. Pauline Murray was the ex-lead singer of Newcastle, England punk band Penetration. The Invisible Girls were the backing group for London punk poet laureate John Cooper Clarke at one time.
