Mo-dettes - Kray Twins

On this date in 1981, Modettes released their fifth single, "Kray Twins". It was backed by "White Mice". The A side was a live version of a studio track that appeared on their one and only album, The Story So Far. The B side was a re-working of their first single. They were an all-female post punk band that formed in England (though guitarist Kate Korus was born in the U.S. and singer Ramona Carlier was originally from Switzerland) and lasted through the release of six singles and one album after which they disbanded in 1982.
