The Lords Of The New Church

On this date in 1982, The Lords Of The New Church released their self-titled debut album. It contained the singles, "Open Your Eyes", "New Church" and "Russian Roulette". In fact, "Open Your Eyes", their second single, was also released on this date. It's B side, "Girls Girls Girls", was not included on the album but was added when the album was re-released on CD. The post-punk band consisted of punk veterans Stiv Bators (The Dead Boys), Brian James (The Damned), Dave Treganna (Sham 69) and Nick Turner (The Barracudas). They disbanded in 1989.
