Leyton Buzzards - 19 & Mad

On this date in 1978, Leyton Buzzards released their debut single, "19 And Mad". It was backed by "Villain" and "Youthanasia". While called Leyton Buzzards, they did not release an album. They became The Buzzards (dropping "Leyton") before parting ways in 1980, releasing one album, Jellied Eels To Record Deals. It was a collection of the London punk/power pop band's previous singles, both A and B sides, and some of their Peel session recordings.
