Eyeless In Gaza - Drumming The Beating Heart


On this date in 1982, Eyeless In Gaza released their fourth album, Drumming The Beating Heart. It included the single, "Veil Like Calm". It was their fourth album in 18 months. It did not include the song "Drumming The Beating Heart" which appeared on their fifth album, Rust Red September, released in 1983. The Warwickshire, England post punk/new wave band are really the duo of Martyn Bates and Peter Becker. Martin had previously been in Reluctant Stereotypes with Paul King, later of King. Eyeless in Gaza still record.
