The Exploited - Army Life

On this date in 1980, The Exploited released their debut single, "Army Life". It was supported by "Fuck The Mods" and "Crashed Out". The A side appeared on their debut album, Punk's Not Dead, but the other tracks did not. All three appeared on the compilation, The Singles (though "Fuck The Mods" was renamed "The Mods"). "Fuck The Mods", by the way, was sung to the tune of "Jingle Bells". The Edinburgh, Scotland band was one of the U.K.'s original Oi! bands. They are still together but moved towards thrash by the late '80's.
