The Chords - The British Way Of Life

On this date in 1980, The Chords released their fourth single, "The British Way Of Life (This Is The Life)". The B side was "The Way It's Got To Be". Neither song appeared on a studio album though both were added to an expanded CD release of their album, So Far Away. The single reached the #54 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The London mod revivalist band released several singles but just one album before disbanding in 1981.
