Charlie Harper - Barmy London Army

On this date in 1980, Charlie Harper released his first solo single, "Barmy London Army". It was backed by "Talk Is Cheap". Charlie Harper was, of course, the frontman for London punk band U.K. Subs. No...his day job was not on hiatus. It was just a side project. He enlisted James Stevenson, guitarist for Chelsea, to help out.
