Buzzcocks - Harmony In My Head

On this date in 1979, Buzzcocks released their eighth single, "Harmony In My Head". It was backed by "Something's Gone Wrong Again". Neither track appeared on a regular studio album but both appeared on their 1979 compilation, Singles Going Steady. The single reached the #32 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The lead on the A side was handled by guitarist Steve Diggle. The Manchester, England punk band disbanded in 1981 but reunited in 1989 for a reunion tour. Shortly thereafter, Shelley and Diggle regrouped to start the Buzzcocks again with new band members and they continue to play today.
