The Buzzards - We Make A Noise

On this date in 1979, The Buzzards released their fourth single, "We Make A Noise". It was backed by "Disco Romeo". The band used to be called The Leyton Buzzards but dropped the "Leyton" in order to give them broader appeal. They did not release an album but, in order to satisfy their contract, they released a compilation album called "Jellied Eels To Record Deals". It was a collection of the London punk/power pop band's previous singles, both A and B sides, and some of their Peel session recordings. Both of these single sides appeared on the album. They disbanded in 1980.
