Art Objects - Hard Objects

On this date in 1980, Art Objects released their debut single, "Hard Objects". It was backed by "Biblioteque" and "Fit Of Pique". None of the tracks appeared on their only album, Bagpipe Music. The Bristol, U.K. post-punk band was hard to describe. It was like poetry set to music, kind of like some of The Fall's work, but not exactly. When the band disbanded after two singles and one album, Gerard Langley formed The Blue Aeroplanes.
