The Jim Carroll Band - Dry Dreams

On this date in 1982, The Jim Carroll Band released their second album, Dry Dreams. There were singles released from the album. The punk/new wave band which was originally based in the San Francisco area was lead by New York City born Jim Carroll. The band didn't make much noise after their initial single, "People Who Died" but Jim Carroll is probably more famous for his autobiographical book, The Basketball Diaries, written about his life on the streets of New York City.
