Ultravox! - Young Savage

On this date in 1977, Ultravox! released their second single, "Young Savage". It was backed by a live version of "Slip Away". The studio version of the B side appeared on their self-titled debut album but neither single side appeared on a regular studio album until the A side was added as a bonus track to their second album, Ha! Ha! Ha! and the B side was added as a bonus track to their debut, Ultravox!, when they were re-released on CD. At this time, the band was called Ultravox! They dropped the exclamation point and just called themselves Ultravox after their second album. The London post punk/new wave band lasted until 1987. They re-formed in 1992 and released two albums before shutting it down again in 1996.
