Tubeway Army - Are Friends Electric?

On this date in 1979, Tubeway Army released their fourth single, "Are Friends Electric?". It was backed by "We Are So Fragile". The A side was on their second album, Replicas. The B side was a non-LP track but was added as a bonus track on the album when re-released on CD. Both the single and the album hit their respective #1 spots on the U.K. charts. It would be the last recording for Tubeway Army before Gary Numan went solo.
